Peter Geiger

Promotional Products Association International (PPAI), Irving, Texas, has named Peter E. Geiger as its 2014 PPAI H. Ted Olson Humanitarian Award honoree. Named after the late H. Ted Olson, MAS, PPAI President Emeritus, the award represents what Olson stood for—volunteerism inside and outside the promotional products industry.

Maine's Portland Herald Press recently published an article about lead promotional products distributor Geiger. In it, they cover the company's history dating back to 1878, its business practices, the company's move from New Jersey to Maine, and how the business has helped the local community.

Irving, Texas-based Promotional Products Association International (PPAI) announced Lewiston, Maine, distributor Geiger has pledged a $10,000 challenge gift to the PPEF Named Scholarship in memory of industry leader Glen R. Holt, MAS, who served on the Geiger corporate board of directors from 2002 to 2008. Geiger will match funds up to $10,000 made by those wishing to honor Holt.
