Goldstar's Kenny Ved on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace
Goldstar’s Kenny Ved is a longtime advocate of cooperative diversity growth in our industry. His unique perspective as an Asian-Indian person, combined with holding a leadership position at one of the most recognizable and charismatic suppliers in the industry, has given him the great responsibility of thoughtfully approaching diversity to educate, inform and grow the market’s success. Kenny sees where the industry might have missed opportunities to develop its diversity in the past and understands the value of the conversations taking place today.
Throughout his career, Kenny has worked to open opportunities for dialogue among his colleagues, peers and industry leaders. He also takes note of other markets and how they have succeeded in similar diversity conversations. Action is the inspiration that drives a more diverse future. Kenny finds that we don’t always have to be the first or even the best in our understanding of how to build a diverse industry, but the common mindset of progress is key.
