How Can I Look at Open Orders on QuickBooks?

Question: Is there a dashboard in QB Premier where I can look at open orders?

Answer: QuickBooks Premier has such a dashboard called Income Tracker. You can find the icon on the left side of the home page where other shortcuts are listed.

The Income Tracker has tabs at the top of the screen so you can see:

• Open estimates
• Open sales orders
• Open invoices
• Overdue amounts
• Amounts paid in the last 30 days

There are also shortcuts to:

• Record the receipt of payments (without having to go back to the home page)
• Batch email invoices
• Create new sales orders and invoices

It’s very helpful to get a handle on your open orders and income stream on one screen.
