June PM Style, Abridged
I have to cut short my usual written tomfoolery today (we’re working on something pretty big ‘round here … more on that later), but I wanted to be sure you caught all the good stuff the June Style section has to offer. I know I’m a little late on this, but hopefully you’re not too disappointed.
If you missed these tidbits the first time around, don’t worry. That’s what I’m here for.
Here are the highlights:
pg. 72: The Wide Euro Band Scoop Neck Hoodie from California Basics is one of the coolest sweatshirts I’ve seen in awhile. The contrast-color whipstitching channels the vintage vibe that’s trending right now, plus the wide bottom band and scoopneck collar strike a nice symmetry—I can see this being a great look on any figure.
pg. 76: Much to the surprise of the entire Promo Marketing staff, George W. Bush was once a cheerleader. In other news, the apparel needs for cheer squads and dance teams are an open playing field for distributors.
pg. 82: In a surprising departure from the denim button-downs that litter the promotional wearables arena, Vantage Apparel offers its Weathered Denim Jacket. The guy in the product image might look a little stiff, but I think we can suspend disbelief a little bit and imagine it all open, with the sleeves up. It works!
pg. 90: For anyone who’s seen Colorado Timberline’s booth at various trade shows, this might not come as a surprise, but for everyone else: Laser embroidery is taking imprinting up a notch. I have an awesome orange fleece scarf to prove it.
PS: (or should I say, Pssst?) That “something big” i mentioned earlier may or may not be a whole lot of goodness regarding responsibility in the industry … coming soon.
