Banned in Arlington: The Texas Rangers Championship T-shirt You Can't Get at the Stadium

The official AL West Champions T-shirt, the one handed out to the Rangers on the field after they beat Los Angeles Sunday, won't be available at Globe Life Park in Arlington.

The T-shirt, designed by Major League Baseball and emblazoned with the logo "The West Is Ours," features a silhouette of the Dallas skyline as the backdrop. MLB designed a series of shirts and sweatshirts for teams in the postseason featuring city skylines.

For the Rangers, headquartered in Arlington since they arrived in Texas in 1971, this presents something of an issue. Arlington doesn't feature a prominent cityscape skyline.
