Bag Makers Inc. Promotes Pete Gleason to Vice President of Sales

Bag Makers Inc., Union, Ill., has promoted Pete Gleason, MAS, to vice president of sales. Previously, Gleason served as the company’s director of sales strategy.

In his new role, Gleason will assume more responsibility for sales development, including overseeing and training the company’s sales team. He will continue to work closely with senior vice president of sales Roger Bayness, as well as the company’s full executive team, to help set and guide the company’s sales direction. Gleason also will continue to represent Bag Makers Inc. and work with customers in the company’s Northeast sales territory.

Gleason is an industry veteran with firsthand experience working on both sides of the supply chain during his career. Prior to joining Bag Makers Inc., he held leadership positions with industry suppliers before working as a distributor for 14 years. Gleason has also been active in industry organizations, and has served as past president of the New England Promotional Products Association, chair of the PPAI Awards Committee and chair of the PPAI Distributors Committee.
