Staples Inc. Appoints Michael T. Williams as Senior Vice President, General Counsel

Staples Inc., the parent company of industry distributor Staples Promotional Products, based in Framingham, Mass., announced that Michael T. Williams has been appointed senior vice president, general counsel and secretary, effective Nov. 7, 2012. Williams will have global management responsibility for the company's legal team and will report to Ron Sargent, Staples' chairman and chief executive officer.
