BIC Graphic Hires Blair Hawley as Chief Operating Officer

BIC Graphic North America, Clearwater, Fla., announced that it has hired Blair Hawley to fill the newly-created role of chief operating officer. Hawley will assume leadership of manufacturing, customer service, procurement, inventory, supply chain management, logistics and planning, and will report directly to CEO David Klatt, whom the company hired last February.

Hawley's background includes supply chain and operations management, and he has developed business partnerships with consumer brands such as Snuggie, Playtex, Hawaiian Tropic, Remington, Timex and more. Most recently, he was chief operating officer for Heritage Home Group, where he managed the execution of custom consumer orders.

"I have a passion for continued improvement and excellence in execution across all elements of the supply chain," Hawley said in a press release. "I look forward to bringing this passion to my new role and providing custom solutions for BIC Graphic customers."

BIC had a busy 2018. In addition to the February hiring of Klatt, who was seen as a bit of an outsider to the promotional products industry, the company revived its Souvenir brand in October and entered into an exclusive partnership with Tervis in December. With Hawley's hiring, the supplier keeps the momentum going.

"Our No. 1 priority right now is enhancing our customer experience," Klatt said. "And Blair's background makes him the perfect person to lead those efforts."
